Dirt Work

Dirt work is the backbone of every successful build. We shape land, move material, and prep stable subgrades so your project starts clean and stays on schedule. Site Preparation

Clearing, stripping, cut/fill, and compaction to create a stable, construction-ready site. We remove organics, proof-roll subgrade, and benchmark elevations for the trades that follow. Includes erosion control and haul-off as needed so foundations, utilities, and roads start on solid ground.

Grading

Precision rough and finish grading for drainage, foundations, and flatwork. We establish slope lines, balance material, and compact in lifts to spec. GPS machine control delivers tight tolerances for pads, driveways, and final landscape grades that shed water away from structures.

Excavation

Basements, footings, crawlspaces, and over-excavation where soft soils require replacement. We stake offsets, protect setbacks, and stockpile or export spoils per plan. Safe shoring and trench boxes available; compaction tests documented for your inspector and engineer.

Trenching

Utility trenching for power, water, sewer, and communications—including bedding, warning tape, and backfill to specified densities. We coordinate locates, maintain traffic control when required, and keep trenches clean and dry to accelerate inspections and service hookups.

Roads & Driveways

Durable gravel roads and driveways built for year-round access. We shape crown and ditches, install geotextile where needed, and build base with proper lift thickness and compaction. Options for culverts, turnouts, and winter-friendly surfaces that won't rut out.

Pad & Building Sites

Engineered building pads for houses, shops, and barns. Subgrade proof-roll, moisture conditioning, and compacted import/export as needed to meet geotechnical requirements. Verified elevations for framers and concrete crews, with clean drainage paths around the structure.

Erosion Control & Drainage

Swales, French drains, culverts, riprap, and outlet protection to move water safely. We correct negative grades, daylight drains, and stabilize disturbed soils to protect roads and foundations—built to local stormwater guidelines.

Retaining Walls

Excavation and backfill for block and rockery walls, including permeable base, drains, and geogrid reinforcement per manufacturer specs. We coordinate with your wall installer to deliver proper embedment, footing width, and back-drain performance.

Material Delivery

Clean import materials delivered and placed: crushed rock, structural fill, sand, and topsoil. We spread and compact to thickness so you aren't left with piles. Ask about culvert, pipe, or fabric delivered with the same drop.

Land Clearing

We open up land the right way—efficiently and with respect for the property. From forestry mulching and selective clearing to right-of-way work and fire mitigation, we remove brush and trees, manage stumps, and leave the site graded and drainable.
